Meet YB Chong Eng
Chong Eng is an influential political figure and Executive Councillor for Social Development & Non-Islamic Religious Affairs in Penang, who has made significant contributions to the community. She started her political career as a research officer and rose through the ranks, becoming an MP and winning numerous elections.
Chong Eng is a prominent advocate for gender equality and social justice, and she has been instrumental in establishing a state institution for women’s development and empowerment. Her unwavering dedication to bettering the lives of those in the Penang community, particularly women and children, has made her an essential figure and an inspiration to all.
